Air suspension question. Possible hidden gem?

i noticed today that my S6 was sitting higher than normal after I got out of it at a parking lot with the engine running. Shortly after, the car lowered itself to the regular height. I saw this happened twice today.

and it made me think I messed something up with vagcom. but then i realized i drove up relatively steep hills both occasion.

does any one know our air suspenion adjust itself depending on angular of the roads? I do know it lowers automatically at high speeds but never knew it also raises automatically.

I have come to realize that the air suspension is like it teenager. No matter what you tell it, it does what it wants. For the most part, it behaves. I have come to accept it.

what does the sensor do?

When it moves the bag adjusts the pressure.
