    2006 B7 S4 Brilliant Black 2 tone interior

    FEELER
I'm considering letting my 06 S4 go to a new loving home. Bought the car a few months back and have had Dynarev preform pretty much all its maintenance. Car is beautiful inside and out and drives great. I live downtown Chicago and need to drive for work so the gas mileage is KILLING me on this V8. Looking to see if there is any interest on the forum in a great, stock S4.
    Quick rundown on the car.
    Auto trans
Two tone leather interior (seats are great, driver had a very small hole due to being cut by class) brand new OEM arm rest - interior looks like new.
    RNS-E NAV w/aux
Brushed aluminum trim (not the fish scale)
BBS 18" CH rims with almost new tires

Maintence that's been done since I bought it.
    New NGK plugs
    New OEM Coils
    New Red Top Battery
New StopTech rotors and pads on front (rear are still very good)
    New valve cover gaskets
    New intake manifold gaskets
    New Vally pan gasket
    New alt belt
    New serp belt
    New headlight bulbs
New power steering pump and both rubber hoses
    M1 0w40 oil change (yesterday)
    Trans flush, filter and gasket

The interior looks, smells and feels like new, not even a scratch on the chrome shifter surround. Exterior has a few rock chips on the hood and the grill by the hood latch is cracked. Now squeaks, smoke grinds or chain rattle. Car is solid and sound.
TWO intermitian dash lights that come and go. One is for Bank 1 lean (Dynarev feels it's an o2 sensor since they have checked all vacuum lines ans so one - plus since it's not always on its had to trace down. Second my light telling me my traction control is on comes on from time to time but as soon as the car is turned of its gone - comes on every couple days then will be off for a few days). Outside of those 2 issues the car is top notch. I'm not 100% on letting it go but again the gas aspect sucks.
Asking $10,000 OBO would consider a trade for a nice A4 2.0T or A3. Sorry about not having the best pics up - these are from when I first bought the car and it's a little dirty. I wanted to take some today but Chicago got a freak snow storm. Oh and the car is garage parked so it's not out on the road.
If interested, have questions or want more pics please send me your info in a message. Can come drive it to see how nice it is of truly interested.

    Car has 177k.
Has CLEAR carfax report - no accidents, damage, leans - first owner had it for almost 160,000 miles serviced at Audi it's whole life prior to me.

    List Date: 4/3/2016

    Cool

I feel your pain now that I've moved back to the city. I haven't driven anything other than a v8 for the last 10 years -- So what are the chances your on original timing chain shenanigans?

Well I know two things about the car - the condition it's in I can say the original owner (owned it up to almost 160k) took awesome care of it. Nothing looks to be neglected - nothing is broken and the interior is pristine. They also had it serviced for everything at the dealership, and if the dealership can grab $5000 or so in service they are going to say they needed to be replaced. The next thing is yes people have had problems with the chains - it's documented over and over again on here but not ever S4 has that problem. Only a small percentage of the cars had that issue and there were a lot of these cars made. The engine has ZERO chain noise - nothing. I can video the car with sound running, driving and under hard throttle to let anyone interested hear it. Around Chicago Dynarev is a highly respected Audi/VW shop and they have done all my maintenance and asked about the chain and was told they don't hear or see anything that suggests there is an issue with the chains. If someone is interested in the car they are welcome to have it inspected by any Audi mechanic they would like.
