How to adjust rusted coilovers!? B5 s4 avant

How's it going guys.... I'm picked up a car about a week and half ago and it has vogtland coilovers and it had snow tires on it. I picked up some new wheels put them on to see the height and there was pretty much fender gap. I think all 4 corner were around 26.5-27" ftg. So I've been soaking the collars since yesterday morning every now and then w pb blaster and I started to tear in. Now these coilovers look pretty old and to car does have a decent amount of rust on the undercarriage so I knew this was not gonna be easy. Well I got the pass front done and both rears I was able to screw the lower collar down to my measured height but now I cannot get the collar that the spring sits on to move. And I can not get either collars on front drivers side to move. I have tried a spanner wrench hammer/mallet with screw driver does anyone else have any suggestions? Is there a way to compress the spring to take the load off these upper collars? Any help would be great thx

Mixture of acetone and ATF is better at penetrating. Also, Kroil or MouseMilk.

I'll give those a try for over night. Know my kw v3s had set screws.....does anybody know if vogtland still have them? I didn't see any but it's just weird that one moved real easily and the other 3 won't budge

Hate to bump a dead post, but I figured this article might help a few people:
