I had it off for a thermostat job and my friend thought is was a good idea to take the intercoolers out to clean them He ended up damaging the ends where the coolant lines go in,so bad that they would never seal again..New intercoolers cost more than most used chargers.

He works for me so I can't stay mad for too long.It might not be such a bad mistake? I am testing out a chemical intercooler set up right now.I left the coolers out and tig welded caps on the ends of charger and drilled and tapped 4 water/meth nozzles in the side of the charger.I NEVER would have done this if this mishap didn't happen.I shouldn't have to worry about heat soak too much anymore.See how the logs look I guess.
still want another charger for back up though.

I'm really hoping that the water/meth will be enough to keep the air Temps cold enough.Will have to play with the mixture I'm sure and the amont of water/meth so it doesn't bog.I will be gaining a lot of plenum volume without the coolers in there.Soule have everything finished Tuesday or wed to test it out.I also machined a couple different overdrive pulleys to test.Thensure 2nd one is a little bit bigger than what is currently available..
