The platinum is pretty much white... kinda like an off white.

My car has platinum interior. It's definitely a light gray, not off white. It could be the lighting, but the ad never says what color they are, and they look white to me.

Yea I think whether it looks more (very) light grey or (very) light tan depends on the lighting. Regardless those seats are definitely "platinum" S4 seats. They didn't come in any other light color...

Actually they were available with a "Black and Silver" interior, and the seats in that combo are almost white. They're WAY lighter than platinum. I'd almost guarantee that the seats in that link are "silver".

I think it might be a B6/B7 thing. I've seen the silver interior referenced as "Platinum Silver", so I'm thinking the B6s had "platinum grey" and the B7s had "platinum silver", though I don't know that for sure. I have definitely seen platinum grey Recarros though, in a B6 S4.

Larry, you might be happier to find a worn set and have a reputable shop recover them and sort panels
You might even save some sought and have a sweet set
A really good shop can even replicate the embossed logo

I'd like to do the same, but can't find a single set for Cabriolet anywhere
Honestly I'd like to just find fronts and I'd be happy

I think there's a set in b7 section (maybe white, but they are in amazing shape for the age). Aswell a set of the black/white Alcatara aswell. Sorry if this does not help just thought I'd try.

Unfortunately, I have all platinum grey interior. So although it would be awesome for my b5 and b6 to have matching interior, i gotta stick with grey.

I may be selling mine. They are non-heated and looking to replace with a heated set up. I'm going to do a mild refurbish this weekend and I can shoot you some pics. They are in pretty good shape. Back seat is just about perfect, passenger seat is an 8-9/10, but drivers seat needs a little love. Maybe a 6/10. Hoping the work I do over the weekend brings that up to a 7-8/10 at least, otherwise I'm likely buying a full re-dye kit.

They are definitely in better shape than the seats in the pics above
