Tried but no luck - VAG code to show D1,D2,D3,D4 etc. and DRL to be brightest setting

    Hi Guys -

Last summer I met up with AZ member we were able to some popular codes like needle sweep, turn off front side amber marker, and VIM. But we did fail in showing the gears while in Drive or Sport mode. Maybe we changed a value wrong since he did mention it was from a B8 code where most worked. Anyone knows exactly where and what the value should be for 2010 C6.5? Would also like to make the DRL as brightest setting possible too.

    Thanks All!

Do you have the color screen in the middle of the dash?

FWIW, my 2009 Prestige has that already from factory. My 2007 S-line Avant (also MMI 2G High with color screen) did not and I never found the option to turn it on.

If you find it, please post back. So many post and runs on this forum

I've tried to get this on my C6.5 for a while too. The module is different than any of the other Audi lines (most notably B8) and just doesn't have the traction to dig through and find it.

I talked to Ross Tech a while back about trying to get it, and they said they could do a screen share with me to walk through the different adaptations. Life has gotten in the way so I haven't had a chance, but it may be worth looking at.

My 2009 also shows the current gear on the center display in all 3 modes; Drive, Sport and Manual. I dont recall if I had this coded or was the way I got when I bought the car.

Would be nice to see on the 2010 A6 C6.5. Only time I see D1 D2 D3... is if I use the paddle shifter. But after few sec it reverts back to D or S.

This worked for me to disable front amber side marker. I have 3G MMI. Damn, so no luck so far. Sigh.

That doesn't make since. When I am in sport mode and use the paddle shift, it will switch to manual and display M1, M2 etc. If I don't use the paddles any longer it will switch back to sport mode.
