over the weekend i threw a code.

Did a few things, cleared it now waiting to see whats up.

Check your fpr vac line, when those start to leak they do cause a lean issue at part throttle if your in boost.

will do. is there just one comming off of it? cant remember

  6. #6
yes, theres just one line for the fpr

check any of the braided hoses on and around your engine, they crack/tear over time

if all hoses check ok and your dbw then a maf would be a good place to start
    contact via email please.

You will only get a maf code if the maf ic completely dead, this will be in the form of a "low maf voltage".

If the maf is starting to die out causing the g/s readings to get lower, this can cause the car to go lean.

i had the same code, was running lean and stalling. took out MAF cleaned it with carb cleaner, and let it air dry. problem went away and CEL also went away.................

my problems are with a possible timing belt failure for now..........good luck with your car though.

nope, just use carb cleaner, and make sure to let it air dry, do not us an air compressor or anything like that as the MAF has small fibers which can get messed up using compressed air............
