    For E85 users...MPGs???

I've decided that I want to run e85 almost exclusively. Having experienced a few full tanks of it, you can guess MPGs drops with the use of our 5th injector. What are some of the MPGs you guys experiencing? My AR on 91 octane and "true" stock sized tires (245/45/18) averaged about 24 combined. Running 91 & 255/35/19, I combine/average about 22. On e85 with 255/35/19, about 18-19MPGs. Here in Seattle, it does cost me more to run e85 in terms of price per gallon and overall MPGs. However, the significant boost in HP/TQ is well worth the cost to play.

LOL.... gas mileage. I usually get around 14 or less.
But that hasn't stopped me from running it as my sole fuel source for the past year and a half.

P.S. the 5th injector only cycles-on during cold starts to aid in starting ignition. It's immediately turns off and is never in use again.

Around Chicago Area, E85 is subsidized nicely. Probably about $0.50 less per gallon than regular 87 octane, so you can imagine it's more than a $1.00 less than 93. I'd take the hit on MPGs for the savings...if I could.

Low teens in the city and 20-22 on the freeway on E85. It's on par with my V10 TDI Touareg. Often the Touareg does better.

So it sounds to me that my MPGs are not far off from what others are experiences. I know it all changes when the pedal hits the metal...goodbye MPGs.
