    05.5 S4 Fuel Gauge issues

    Hello everyone,

I believe to be having a problem with one of my fuel senders. Ever since I bought the car, it would always show up as 3/4 full when filled at the gas station. Following other members advice, I did an output test on the cluster and found that to be working perfectly fine. Once I knew that, I decided to do a measurement in Vag-com with a full tank of gas to find this. I am having issues understanding the infromation and cannot tell if it is sender 1 or sender 2 that is at fault. (Note: for this log, fuel sender 2 is set to the max adaptation value of 160 (which made the fuel gauge almost read full now, but not quite))

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

The measured fuel level is very different in both tanks. One shows 16l while the other shows 36l. Also, the resistance of both are very different. Now my mind is telling me that sensor 1 (or the one on the fuel pump) is not working. am i correct?
