    ey guys,

Every time I turn my car on ; warm out or freezing because jersey.. the fan is ALWAYS on 11 or 12, is there anyway to stop this? i tried messing with the a/c options in mmi and nothing seems to be relevant to solving this.

also its not on the auto setting.

    best,

Did it just start? If so, probably the blower motor resistor module. Do a scan for codes.

its been doing it ever since i got the car in nov, so it would always start heating the car up but would never mind/notice really because it was freezing. but now i can tell.

If you have a second key try and start the car with it. I am fairly certain the car sets the controls to how it was last set per key. My backup key was used last time I was doing VCDS work. I started the car a few months later with that key and the climate controls were again off just like when I was doing coding. Also does adjusting the fan speed manually actually change the fan speed?

okay im goingto try using my second or third key, and yes it does change the fan speed, the functions all seem to be working flawlessly.

The car recognizes the key and configures the HVAC, heated seat seatings, mirrors and seat position (If all the memory modules are on your option package). It's great when you keep a key per driver.
