    INSTANT REBATE! PHILIPS X-tremeVision +50% HID bulbs - Starting @ $139.99 + FREE SH

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

INSTANT REBATE offer - PHILIPS X-treme Vision series HID XENON bulbs

Between March 31 and April 8, 2016, order X-treme Vision HID bulbs and enjoy up to $100 of instant saving.
Please note that this Instant Rebate offer is offered by the distributors and HID Concept cannot apply this offer to any orders placed prior to this promotional term.

** Be sure to use coupon code: XVOFFER during checkout.

Philips X-tremeVision +50% series HID bulbs provide up to +50% more brightness and whiter color temperature rated at 5000K (initial color rated at 4800K).
On top of our everyday low price, this INSTANT REBATE would make this deal even more special.
If you've been looking to replace your stock/no-brand name D2S, D2R, D1S, or D3S bulbs to reliable Philips bulbs that are brighter and whiter, it's the time to grab the deal!

    Visit us at hidconcept.com

FYI, see below comparison photos to see how it looks different from the stock 4300K (from our previous test)
(First comparison photos were taken from our facility. The other two actual road comparison photos were taken by AUDIZINE members. Many thanks to kappax12 and studioRS!)
There were rumors that X-tremeVision bulb gets whiter and brighter after 200 hrs of use.
To find out if it's a rumor or truth, we ran a test by having a X-tremeVision bulb stay lit for 9 days (9 days x 24 hrs = 216 hrs).

Conclusion: It's not a rumor anymore. It has been confirmed. X-tremeVision bulb gives whiter and brighter light compared to the stock 4300K bulb from the beginning and it gets even better as it goes through break-in process.
We're very satisfied with the result after 216 hrs of use.

We took a few comparison photos showing stock Philips 4300K D2S(lower), new Philips X-tremeVision D2S (middle), and color-shifted Philips X-tremeVision D2S w/220 hrs use (upper) to show you the difference in lighting output and color.
The photos have not been photoshopped and untouched except for our log being added.

Although we tried to take good photos, it is not easy to take photo of lighting.
The result is that stock 4300K is noticeably yellower and dimmer than X-tremeVision bulb and the color-shifted X-tremeVision bulb is much whiter with crisp white.

Also HIDConcept prices can't be beat and it's an authentic bulb, no risk of knockoffs on ebay.

So, which headlight do we need? I'd like to upgrade my lighting before I make the drive to California! MY guess is D3S? Is that right?

If so, I'll throw in the order today!

I had these on my last S4. But I always wondered, are these compared to a 6000K bulb in brightness? Or they just like any other 4800K bulb?

6000K is estimated to have about 2200 lumens while stock gives 3200 lumens.
XV bulbs are estimated to give up to 50% more brightness than stock.
You can do the math. :D

I am thinking about getting the XV bulbs, but how are the XV 50% brighter if both the stock bulbs and XV bulbs have an output of 3200 lumens?

This has been frequently asked and answered.
On the spec sheet, they are both listed as 3200lm.
How is XV brighter with the same lumens? It's because of special technology used on XV bulb that would put more light on road with greater hotspot.
With this being said, please feel free to do research on forum, google, etc... to find comparison photos and un-biased feedback comments about XV bulbs. You will find it commonly that people are happy with them.

    Bump for Saturday.
Spring weather here in Chicago has been awfully weird today.
It's been raining, snowing with strong wind and then sun-shining... It's been repeating for past 4-5 hours.
Hopefully, it's better where you all live at.

Do the DS3's work with adaptive lights in the S4?

I assume they are still the same bulb.

    Happy Monday!
Just wanted to share the most frequently asked question.

How do X-treme vision compare to Osram CBI?
Osram CBI gives 5000K color for D3S/D4S and 5500K for D2S/D1S with up to 20% more brightness.
Philips XV gives 5000K color (initial start at 4800K) for all HID bulbs with up to 50% more brightness.

Overall, I would say go with X-tremeVision series if you want even more brightness.
For those who need D1S/D2S, if color is more important for you, definitely go with Osram CBI.
No worries. We have both Osram CBI and XV.

    Friendly reminder!
3 days left for the rebate offer.
It has happened before and we know that people will contact us to request the rebate offer to be given after the rebate offer is up.
Since we have to provide proof of orders with order dates, we're unable to offer the same offer deal after the rebate offer term.
    Thank You!

I'm running OEM housings on my 2013 Canadian car. Not really familiar with what E-Codes offer benefit or change wise.
