Need info on how to remove rearview mirror.

Of course can't find the info that I found before so asking again. Trying to remove the headliner of my 01 S8 and have everything else removed. Only thing holding me up is the rearview mirror. Don't want to destroy it but have just about gotten ready to cut it off at the stem if I can't find the proper way to remove it,

I would suspect they are pretty similar, but I have no first hand knowledge. You will also need to use the navigation links in the left hand toolbar.

The just answer one did the trick. I couldn't find any reference to removal of the mirror on the other two. I did find out it's in group 70 in the book. They just didn't have it listed with the rest of the headliner removal diagram.
