Door Compatibility

Alright guys so unfortunate events have caused me to need a replacement driver front door. I searched and found an 03 door which has heated mirrors but as far as i know thats the only difference in the doors with the cold weather package. I also know that there are some differences in early b6s specifically the 02s which i have. My question is will this 03 door be compatible with my 02 sport. I really couldnt care less if the heated mirror works but i just want to make sure this door will plug in and work.

No one? Also on a side note are avants and sedan doors the same? I know the rear door frame is slightly different but theres no clear info on the front

I put a 2004 door onto a 2002 and when I tried the power windows they didn't work had to take the wiring harness from the 2002 and put it into the 2004 door don't forget to swap out the power door locks.

Thanks man, thats what i was worried about. Any info on the avant front doors? I found an 02 avant so id rather snag that door if it will fit as they are the same price/condition.

Don't know about avant doors I know lots of parts are different I don't know but the wiring harness in the avant is probably different and would not operate all the of components. The wiring harness is easy to remove and put into another door just remove the inner door panel disconnect the harness electrical plugs and remove the wiring. The locks are easy to remove as well remove a rubber plug back a torx fastener out turn the lock a quarter turn and remove the lock.

Ughhh, I was just hoping i'd be able to get off easy and just bolt on a new door and plug it in, but of course not its an audi after all. Im sorry im just upset that I put a brand new window regulator in my door a total of 700 miles ago and some dick has to ruin it and make me take my door apart again.
