    Misfire under boost issue...help!!

Just recently got a stage 1 tune from daz...3 days on was running great. Had a huge smile on my face everytime I drove...until I blew out the stock diverter valves...then my dumbass bought splitter valves from xs power...yeah...I know...needless to say that was when things started to go wrong misfiring and all types of wackiness...I ordered 710n's and installed them but the misfire still was happening...so I replaced spark plugs and gapped them to .28...my scanner says it's cylinder 6...the 2.0 coilpacks I have are fairly new I also replaced the first hose while putting the 710n's in...any ideas why as soon as I get into boost it starts to misfire?? Thanks in advance

Swap the number 6 coil with a different cylinder and see if the misfire moves. If not then ring/ohm out the wiring to the coil connector on #6. If it does replace the coil. If you don't have a multimeter then swap the #6 injector to a different cylinder and see if it follows. If it does replace injector/s. If it doesn't check the compression on cyl. #6 or check the wiring to the coil if you skipped that step.

DUDE!!! SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME!
i ordered xs-power splitter valves, and for the life of my car they would not run properly, would not hold proper boost pressure, Under WOT the cars performance was absolute trash( jerky, hesitant) and the sound that they produced literally sounded like the turbos crying for help. Not to mention how horribly these DVS fit...
    Instantly went the 710n route.
Same thing happened to me.Misfires and wackiness continued until i swapped out all of the ignition coils and boom! problem vanished.
Also, are the ignition coils red top or black top? because for performance it is recomended to go with the red top, my buddies GTI went through the black tops like they were snickers on the first of November.

I have the red top...also forgot to mention my oil cap has been leaking and a small amount got down into that spark chamber but not a significant amount...what is the cylinder order anyway is it 123 driver side then 456 pass or 135 driver and 246 pass?

try dielectric grease in the spark plug boots especially if you have brown tracers running down the porcelain. Fixed my under load mis fires

As soon as my car was tuned (APR stage II) I blew out three spark plugs within 20 miles of each other. I replaced them and three coils and its been fun ever since.
I have a rosstech vcds HEX-USB+CAN Interface and cam lock bar to rent with deposit in the Charlotte area. Like all C5 owners I am looking for local parts!
