From non s-line to S-line sport suspension, what's the difference ?

    Hi all,

As title says, I would like to give the Audi a bit more handling; mine has the regular, non S line plain vanilla crappy tall suspension. Handles like a boat, I hate it.

I have the S-line sport suspension ready to go in. What else has Audi upgraded , sway bar, bushings, etc. Does anyone know ?

    Many thanks

Grab the 034 motorsports rear sway bar, you will love it.

Cars with the S-line package from the factory also came with a slightly thicker rear sway bar. It was such a small difference in size, that I doubt it would even be worth getting.

+2 for that, the improvement is immediately noticeable, understeer is reduced, the car sits much flatter in hard cornering and I have mine on the soft setting...An absolute must.
The S-line suspension drops the car about .8 inch and is slightly stiffer.

Also grab some B5 front spring perches (lowering caps). Brings the front down another .5".

Non sline rear sway is 16, sline bumps it up to 18 while rs4 rear is 22 and 034 sway is 25.4

Many thanks, but my lower spring perches/rubbers already look like this, they are very thin :

Consider coilovers,Wolfgang has done 80k miles and just yesterday whilst driving over bumpy roads I suspect the suspension has slowly degraded.Ive just ordered Vogtlands, expensive over here unfortunately but $800 in the US.They get great reviews. So,fixes your height problem and improves your ride....
