I'd never used one; I feel like it gives our cars a cheap JDM look. But I will say that the cheap ones you'll find on eBay or Amazon will end up causing the bracket to move around slightly causing scratches on your bumper.

If you end up going cheap for whatever reason, put something soft behind the bracket to avoid vibration scratches and such. Good Luck.
