    2013 A4 0-60 4.2 Seconds?!?!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I stumbled across this video of a stage 1 2013 A4 quattro doing a pull to 60 in 4.2 seconds. I don't see this being possible with just a stage 1 APR tune. Whoever posted the video, claims that the video was not sped up. Can anyone confirm this?

Was it pointed down a steep hill? 4.2 seconds is sick!

He's probably referring to APR Stage 1 E85 tune. The E85 map is nothing like the 91 Pump gas map.

When I launch against my buddies Stage 2 E92 M3, we are neck and neck until 80mph where he starts to pull. IIRC E92 M3 has low 4-second 0-60 as well.

But even with E85, still think an A4 can pull 4.2 seconds? Seems to good to be true

I am actually the last comment in that video. I am pretty sure he said he was on 93. I was watching this again the other day, i bet he is on a steep hill.

I made a video last year. In my (very unscientific) calculations, I hit 4.3 seconds.

    I'm E85 Stage 2 though.

I've never noticed any difference in smell. Smells just like gas to me.

I have taken a few RS5 out for the first 70-80 mph then they start pulling.... Yes the stage 2 E85 is very powerful... it all depends i cant say 4.3 sec but for sure under 5 secs 0-60 with about 400 tq.

I run a test pipe and no one ever complains, I can barely smell it sitting at a red light. Its when I fill up with gas that people start to notice.

I've only ever seen 1 RS5 driving around in the 55K miles I've driven this car... I wish I had the chance to do some pulls against them.

Our A4's I think could only do 4.2 if pushed off a cliff or dropped out of a plane. I love my car but it is not quick by any means.

Calm down you two, based on Car and Driver you're both right, depending on transmission. Although the 6AT went both ways.

Ok lets be fair. The RS5 is fast. It's not slow haha. BUT, the RS5 is like an E92 M3...slower than dog shit unless you've got the revs about 4000. A few friends and I were cruising to a meet and one guy had an RS5...sounded beautiful and looked great. A stage 2 A4...especially on E85 could keep pace on a short pull but if it was like a 1 mile drag where the RS5 had space to run, it would be game over
