    over boosting?

From what I know my car is all stock, when accelerating from low rpms in a higher gear my boost gauge will run up to 15-18psi then drop off and hold a steady 9-10psi. But when accelerating from higher rpms such as 3k in 5th gear it will only boost to the typical 9-10psi for a stock car. when I got the car the guy that had it said he had a apr stage 1 tune on it, but said he took it off because it wasn't running right, so im not sure if the tune is still there or not. Could my waste gate be out of adjustment or what could be going wrong? I haven't ran any logs to see requested vs. actual yet because my battery on my laptop bit the dust and it must be plugged in at all times for the computer to stay on

Any help would be greatly appreciated before I go insane and just sell the damn car, because my temperature flap on the driver side is stuck and wont readjust with vagcom, I have a coolant leak from somewhere, boost leak from under the intake manifold, and also my ac pump exploded(hopefully the one on my parts car is okay) so I have a long list of things that need attention.

could be a bad n75. strange you say it goes that high and you state you have a boost leak.
fix the boost leak first and go from there.
its probably you pcv valve or torn boot ( all that's under your intake )

Check the 3 hoses attached to the N75. If you disconnect the hose from the wastegate actuator to the N75 it causes unregulated boost(easy to overboost) so your problem may be in that area.

thanks a lot guys! I will work on getting my boost leak fixed (being a pain in the ass), and then I will also check my N75 and make sure all is good there, if nothing changes ill try swapping my N75 with a used one I have.
