Possible to get air into the clutch system?

Hey all, I've had an issue with my clutch for the past year or so. Occasionally after a WOT pull through a few gears, or if I rev the motor quickly while rolling my clutch pedal only returns about halfway. I can pull it back up and it works perfectly. No slippage or any others issues, but I am curious if its possible that im getting boost into the lines because this only occurs after a hard pull. I remember reading a post(that i cannot find) where someone was explaining that its possible for a certain check valve to go bad, and then allow boost to get into the clutch line causing the non-returning pedal. If anyone has experienced this or has an idea Id appreciate your input! Thanks.

A leaking clutch master will suck air into the lines. No correlation between boost though.

I have the same symptoms and I have come to the conclusion of it being my clutch master cylinder
