Searched and saw an identical issue in the B6 forum, but his solution was coil-overs. I'm likely keeping this car one more year so I won't be sinking cash into a coil over setup. What I am curious about though is, how hard are these to change without removing the subframe? Is it just compress, pull, compress the new ones, and reinstall? Or is there more to it than that?
Also, any reason not to drive this thing for a week or two until I can get parts? Spring looks pretty well seated around the bushing to me. Seems OK to get by.
Finally, anyone know a good place not a dealership to get OEM springs? I usually get my stuff from ECS but only see aftermarket there. TIA!
