Suspension geometery question: 18" by 9" will they fit flush for sure on my A4 ?

Finally decided that the cars gotta be dropped. This is as result of lusting after a set of dished Alzors in 18" by 9"-349's.My current setup is 18 by 8's ET43 sitting on S-line suspension.Doing the math for these Alzors at ET 35 and 9 inches wide,I hope most of you agree the width increase would then be ~21mm ( 8mm ET diff and 12.5mm being 50% of width increase )
My front fender inboard clearance is now 10mm so the poke would be around 10mm or 3/8th of an inch.Yep,not good.So the suspension question:if I used say ST coilovers would the fact that I could drop the car another 1.5 inches, be enough to increase the negative camber and pull the wheel/tyre back in to flush ? Would the increase in wheel width also change the camber to help me ? Opinions please.

Wheels dont change geometry, suspension does. I thought we covered this, if you go lower you'll increase negative camber and it should be enough for them to sit flush with the fenders

All I can say is that being slammed on my STs ~ and with an 18×8.5 et35 wheel sat flush for me.

Yeah, you've been a great help but I was just chasing confirmation from others that have that setup, that the drop will be enough to cover those wheels and what they found with, say, a different ride height to you,I'm just hoping all will be okay as once purchased I'm stuck with the wheels. Also I would have thought that wider wheels/smaller offset could increase neg camber slightly by increasing the leverage that the wheel has on the suspension by pushing the centreline further outwards.

Wheels do not affect suspension geometry

Fair enough,I'll drop that thought...Do you recall your front FTG ? It'll just give me an idea how far I need to drop
