windows/parking break malfunction alert/ airbag light on

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I installed a subwoofer and after that my windows wont go up with one pull I have to hold the button.
On the dash it says that there is a parking break malfunction.
and also on the rpm side dash the airbag light is always on.

If anybody could help me with what may be causing this please let me know!
    Thank you in advance!

Sounds like a fuse blew for some of the issues. The windows sound like they need to be reset. There is a procedure to do that, but don't know it off the top of my head.

Did you start the car or put it in accessory position while any component was disconnected? The air bag light and parking brake show up as errors for a LOT of different things, and that is a common cause. They need to be cleared by a VAGCOM (individually in each submodule) once you're sure the changes you made are finished. I'd start with that and see where it gets you.

Not sure about the windows, but given that they still work just not automatically I doubt it's a fuse. There probably is some reset procedure I'm unfamiliar with.

    This is correct.

I'm assuming you disconnected your battery for the install Dagree?Anytime you disconnect the battery this happens. I think all you have to do is completely roll down each window once or twice and it should reset them.
