Question Bleeding the Clutch Slave Cylinder

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Halo,

So I recently replaced my brake lines, drained all the fluid of course. Refilled. My Bentley Audi Manual says to bleed the clutch slave cylinder whenever bleeding the brakes. I've already bled the brakes, the problem is that the nipple on my slave cylinder is starting to get rounded, and I don't want to open it up, only to not be able to close it again.

Is bleeding the slave cylinder necesary, or if I check my clutch and it seems fine, should I just roll with it?

The slave cylinder hydraulics don't have any significant complications that would trap air. Pretty much vertical in comparison to brakes and thus you almost never have to bleed it unless you open up the clutch hydraulics.

Only reason to bleed it is during a brake fluid flush (every two years) to keep the fluid fresh.

I didn't bleed my clutch when I put my braided SS lines in. Your good.
