    For the record. 4F0 B7 Key FOB does not work with a 2003+ B6

    I had a questionable battery when I was trying to adapt ti to my car, I will try again once I get a new battery and update this post. (my car is a 2004)

    Here are the specs on the B7 key Fob in question...

    2004 A4 Avant Quattro. (H&R springs, S100 Nav unit, Neuspeed Cat back, Torque solutions Snub mount, Thor Skid Plate, APR Stage 1, 18" S4 Rims, 2X Podi / Oil Press / Oil Temp / Boost/VAC, Full LED interior, Backup Camera/Screen, Upgraded 2.0 Coil Packs, Vag-Com, B7 Center console/B7 Hand Brake, B7 Aero wiper arms B7 rear headreasts,APR Carbonio intake, Fan washer sprayers,
    2014 VW Tiguan. (bone stock)

    No...it will not.
    Look for one with an 8E0 xxx part number ending in 'L' or 'R' . Those work great.
    4F0 is a completely different chassis.

    By different chassis do you mean different Audi? I had that key, bought it off eBay, and it was listed as a B7, was the seller advertising incorrectly?

    8E0 is a part designed for the B6/B7 A4.

    4F0 is for a C6 A6.

    However, sometimes parts designed for a certain chassis are used for other Audis also.

    People often refer to that "style" of key as the B7 fob.
    Although that is 100% a C6 A6 fob, and completely useless to anyone without the component security data from the car it came from.
