Best first step in better handling around corners-sways or coilers?

I have done sways but never coilovers, but looking to improve the cornering as the car seems to want to roll more than I would think for such a small car. There are vendors on this site selling both reasonable but I would prefer to start with one at a time for now.

If you're looking for better handling skip the foreplay and go with sways. If the wheel gap is killing you then coils first.

If you're looking for responsiveness, choose the sway bars and a set of good tires before the coilovers.
You'll be amazed on what can be done to improve steering 'snap' on a two-ton car with those parts.

Installed 034 RSB over few days ago on my 2014 A4 and all I can say is that why I did not do this before? I feel confident driving on corners without slowing down like before.

^^^add in a beefy front sway and you'll feel like you're driving a go kart.

While at the same time increasing understeer.

From my experience, totally not. I think that's a carried over myth from the B5 days.

Hanif87 is very much correct. Increasing rear sway stiffness decreases understeer. Just a simple fact how weight transfer works.

I am leaning towards EruoCode adjustable sways. I had Hotchkis on my ex's Allroad years back but the EuroCode seem the same specs. Anyone actually buying new hardware with install? I don't recall doing that with the Allroad and with adjustable sways wouldn't it make no sense since if you "adjusted" the setting it would require new bolts each time?
