Bought a B8.5 today, think it has an APR Stage 1 how can I activate the tune?

Got a 2013 A4 2.0 today and it has an APR intake, exhaust, and a stage 1 badge on the engine cover. The chip is clearly not on now and I don't know the security code the last owner put in so I can't proceed in APR instructions online. I don't want to track down the old owner because that seem sort of sketchy but I just want to unleash the beast is there anyway around this?

call APR and ask them...they would probably be able to locate who flashed the car based on VIN #....but unfortunately a badge doesnt always mean it was tuned.... or go to a local APR dealer and ask them to take a look...either way it shouldnt be difficult.

I guess I can shoot them an e-mail, they may have a privacy policy or something but the worst they can tell me is no. Just thought maybe someone knew of a lost password reset or something.

They'll likely just charge you a transfer fee to transfer the license to the software.

I'd assume so, I was planning on getting a tune anyways but buying one with a tune is always better.
