I tossed these ones on last week, saw them mentioned from another member here that had them on order. The coloring looks cool, pretty close match to the DRL's. That being said, light output is terrible. I mainly use fogs for the low speed corning, and I can hardly notice them on anymore. I'm on the fence on if I should drop the money for the $100 LED options, stick with this, or go back to stock.

From what I've seen the PIAA LED bulbs are the best, but they are also over $200.

Those definitely look more promising. The second one is 7600 lumens per pair, vs. 2400 for the set I tried. I think I paid $25 so it was worth it to give it a shot based on the good reviews.

Looking forward to seeing if anyone has tried these ones.

I will say I have the PIAA LED bulbs and the light output is awesome, almost too awesome, they are much more blue/white than the DRL's and make the DRL's not look great. I am considering going back to halogen it bugs me so much.

I been running the Ebay chinese one for a few years and no issues with codes or burning the connector.Cost about $15 pair I think.Of course the quality of light isn't as good as the $100 sets but it lasted me 2 years and does provide a decent light coverage.

I bought a whole bunch a few years ago and now they jacked the price,I think at that time it was less than $7.50 a pair,at $1.50 thats a steal.Anyways I agree the light isn't as great as the LED's but for halogens the colour looks oem and not some ricer colour.

    I've been searching a lot here ..

It looks as if the popular fog bulb on these cars are the HEON bulbs.
    http://www.hoen-usa.com/fog.htm
They have a Xeon match that will match the DRL perfectly from other user testimonies on this board. As well as they have a yellow bulb option. HALOGEN BULB.

On my last car I did a LED and then an HID setup in my fog lights, the brightness was perfect, the output was amazing, the functionality was garbage. Unless you're retrofitting a projector into that housing, a halogen bulb you should stick with. Yellow in colour since it is the only colour bulb that actually does it's job in fog or poor weather condition, also allowing on coming traffic to actually see you and not hit you.

I've had good results using the Nokya Hyper Yellow bulbs.. Cheaper for me than the hoen, since I get raped on the conversion rate..

No. I'd stick with a halogen bulb, unless you're going strictly for cosmetics and don't care for the functional benefits of the fog lights.

I use a set of Chinese LED fogs. They work great, other than they interfere with the FM radio signal when they're on. Weird I know. Other than that I have no problems with them.

That's a ground loop. It's not dangerous by itself, but it is indicative of crappy wiring in those fog lights, which could have other consequences down the line.

I just installed the xeon match hoen over the weekend. The original fog assemblies(hella) were roadrashed so i bought a pair of aftermarket assemblies. The look is great and no hassle of ballasts or radio noise that I've dealt with with previous kits.

Can you take a night shot with just the fogs on? I'm curious what the actual light output is. The yellow bulbs I bought were 100% for looks.

Do they throw a lot of heat? I get melting issues on my driver's side fog so I went with the lower power LED bulbs here:

Its a 30w bulb a piece. And that melting issue is known so i never get anything past 60w. Theres alot out there that are 80-100w
this one i got has a heat sink with is gonna draw excessive heat.

my old one which was like 1.50 per bulb held up for almost a year lol. hey looked good but no light output. and they were advertised as 55w
