Anyone know if you can or someone who has done it. Purchased the b7 rs4 clutch kit and went to pull my clutch off and found out the fw was a fidanza so before i run off and spend the money for a stock fw i was seeing if it can be done the same way of i just purchase a new friction plate

I thought you needed to run a conversion flywheel for the B7 RS4 clutch setup. It wont fit to the stock B5 style (same as your Fidanza) without modification.

JHM has this on their site:

"NOTE: If you have a brand-x lightweight flywheel you can send it to JHM for modification to accept the B7 RS4 pressure plate. Please email us for details. We do not modify OEM flywheels for this pressure plate at this time. "

I don't know the details, personally, as I haven't run that style of clutch.
