GKN is my favorite. Like Meyle too. What ever they send me is what I run with as far as material goes.

I have had a few issues with them leaking grease past the Oetiker clamps regardless of how I "burp" them. So the next time my CV boots are in need of replacement, I'm gonna use these clamps as I can make them as tight as I see necessary. They do require a special tool to tighten FYI.

I believe GKN makes the OEM boots. That's what i used and they have held up great (in the rear so less bending).

I think depending on year and run manufacturer varies since I had bought Rein boots with the logo ground off, bought another Rein boot and no logo at all. The really crappy ones are the EMPI ones, they crack and burst easily.

Grease is super messy. I would just leave it out.

Are you planning on completely disassembling the joint and removng all the existing grease? If not it won't really matter how much you apply. Just pack it in there...Makr sure the grease has MoS2.

That Redline grease is the business! I plan on using it again on my rear axles when they are due. The precision grease tip is def the way to go so you get the grease packed inside the ball and cage area. I got a tube from Amazon 12$-13$ish bux.

Redline has the MoS2. The grease starts red and as it is heat cycles and ages turns dark red- brownish. I have read on Redline's site their grease is better than the dark moly-disulfide grease, could just be advertising though.
