    Something Leaking....

    Hey Guys,

    So, poking around my engine bay, I've noticed some wetness around the oil cooler / oil filter area:

    Any ideas what could be leaking or be the issue? TIA!

    Check your dipstick tube for any cracks. Also check the elbow coming out of the block breather for any cracks. I suspect what you are seeing is blow by from a leak in one of those two items.

    Your crank case ventilation starts at your oil cooler adapter housing. Directly on that housing, there is a 90 degree plastic hose held in by a circlip. That 90 degree hose then goes into a rubber T-hose, where your pcv valve is located. If you see residual oil in that area, it is most likely due to the pcv valve or a leak, as Fletcher mentioned.

    The component circled in blue. It tends to harden from the heat of the block and crack.
