    So my battery died on my b6 s4 tip tropic and now my reverse lights stay on in every gear. Not sure what happened the battery died do to water. I'm thinking something is just wet idk?

    And now I have no start again after replacing the battery

    The cooling fans were running when I went out side to check it I disconnected the battery

    RS4 owner here so manual but my reverse lights (& the sensor alarms) were on constantly. Turned out it was a defective reversing light switch which was <$30 at autozone. Dealer wanted $180 to diagnose.

    Maybe that could be the issue with your lights too.

    I ended up figuring it out. It was water in my ECU housing where the relays lay under the ECU. All of them where grounded by the water
