    Anyone running LED fogs?

So i bought some h3 led fogs to replace the halogen bulbs in my 04 narrow body. It had a long fabric connector which I thought was weird but looking at other h3 bulbs seemed consistent so i went with it. Upon taking apart my fog housing though i noticed that the fog bulb is actually a two prong plug.

Do i need new bulbs or do i have to disassemble the two prong connector to get to the power?

Nice! I'd love to get those LMZ bulbs but they're roughly 10 times the cost of the ebay bulbs.

I'm not opposed to the halogen look, they work very well for what they're intended to do, since I live in a city though I don't particularly need the fogs, just something cool to look at.

Thanks for the blog post though, loved reading it!

The long fabric you speak of is the heat sink for the led bulb. That's what they use to keep the bulb small and not need to add a fan to keep it cool

heatsink has to go outside the housing. Just drill back cover, pull the thing out and seal around with silicone. I have 4000 Lumen 6000K color fogs in my 01 Allroad.
