New 2016 S7 Owner!

Well guys I pulled the trigger last night! I was a little worried with the color because it is out of my normal black or white color, but man it is beautiful. After I drove it home, I had to grab my wife so I could go back to the dealership to pick up my 14 Lexus GS 350. I know I am spoiled now because my Lexus felt like a turd!!! My wife got to drive the Audi home and she was dumping on the Lexus the whole time.

I also realized last night that you can't get Sepang blue on an A7, which made me kind of happy.

Anyways car: Sepang Blue, Sport, convenience, and black optic packages, black diamond interior with Carbon Inlays.

You guys really helped me a lot, so I appreciate all the feedback and info!

Looks awesome! I was debating between Daytona Gray and Sepang Blue. But decided to go with Daytona and Black optics. Can't go wrong with either.

I did the best I could! Maybe if I would have walked away and let it sit there longer they would of called me back and given me another $500 off or something but when I compared the price i got compared to what other dealers were telling me, I felt good about it. Plus it was just sitting there waiting to be driven. Also I am new to Audi and knew that the $1,000 conquest was good till the 31st of March, but wasn't sure if it would be available after the 31st.

Thanks buddy! I will get one for sure but was thinking to at least get through the first 5k service and then tune it. What I have always done in the past is get a car and do everything to it right off the bat, wheels, drop, tint, exhaust, etc. This time around I am thinking of doing a slower approach to mods. First is window tint of course. I was driving this morning thinking like "how do people have a car with no tint?, Its so dang hot and there is no privacy!' Appointment is set for that on Saturday.

Then, front plate delete, (unfortunately, my dealer ordered with front plate mount). Then fellow member is gonna help me lower the car with VAG-COM amongst some other settings in a couple weeks when he comes to San Diego. Then I was thinking Roc-Euro intake, (Purely because it sounds amazing). Then 21 wheels, then Tune.

With this approach maybe I can enjoy a car for a longer period of time then I have in the past, and every couple weeks I will get goodies showing up to the house.

I did that my second time around. Tuned my S6 at 3k miles because I'm impatient and it was a mega pain in the ass turning around and doing the unflash/reflash so soon thereafter. Definitely waited for first service on my RS7. And agree completely on tints... fish bowl look, especially the way I drive -- don't need anyone knowing who I am. LOL

Yeah it's tough... I own a fairly prominent local business and dont want the reputation as a complete asshole driver possibly having an impact on my business. I already get texts from friends: "hey, stop messing with that mustang" or "dude, my wife said you just flew by her". There's really no hiding. I've been getting better at picking my spots and driving more normal around where I live and where people know me.
My black S6 rarely turned a head and I wanted something that looked a little more "supercar"... well I got it. And the problems that come along with it. Haha..

Congrats! Sepang blue is such a cool color. I'm not a A/S7 fan (ok, hold those stones boys) but it's starting to grow on me. The rear spoiler in the extended position makes it look much sportier. When I bought my S6, my wife pointed to a S7 and asked why I didn't get that one. She says that the S7 looks so much cooler. Yin & Yang... that's why I love her!
If the next RS7 redesign does something about the rear of the car and I lose interest in 2 door sports cars, I think I'll be in the market for one.

Not at all but get rid of them the car will look soooo awesome with full body color. There is a pic of your color car with both front and bs k delete! Sick!

She's a beaut Clark! I'm new to the club too. My last car (CTS-V) was unmodded until the warranty was up. I got the APR tune two days after buying my S7 - now my car has the "go" to match the looks! It really makes it the ultimate sports sedan - I highly recommend it!!

Awesome looking car. Welcome to the S7 club, mine will be a year old next month
and still love it. Put Disc Italia pads on at 300 miles. APR after the 5,000 mile
service. Tune makes a hell of a difference. Enjoy.

I guess those problems are going to come to us regardless of what color we have. Lol. The MD at my clinic mentioned to the manager that I was flying down the fw last week. A friend's husband told me he sees me blow past him almost everyday to work- I never even see his car. And this is with my poor 3.0T. Lord help me when I get the S or RS.
