cobb accessport is out for the VW MK6, will it work on the 2016 Q3?

I was wondering since the Q3 2016 is similar to the VW MK6, shouldn't the cobb accessport unit work for it?

are the current ecu flashes available by other companies also bridged over to the Q3's?

While similar, the ECU part numbers are almost positively different, and thus would probably stop the Accessport from flashing. Cobb makes it specific enough to state their Accessport is for the Mk6 GTI, ruling out Jetta/A3/Eos of the same year that do use the same ECU (with just a numeric change to the ECU part number).

For normal ECU flashes, same deal applies. I see you're in the 949, GIAC is local to you, just off the 5 in Irvine. If a flash does not exist for your ECU part number, I'm sure they would love to read out the file and make one.
