Front Bumper cover change ?

Is it normal that the dealer want to change under warranty then whole front bumper cover of my S4 because the two tiny doors of the headlight washer don't close when I use it ??? Is the the only way to resolve that problem ??? They order it and give me a rendez vous.

how old is the car and what condition is the bumper in? If its pitted up from normal wear tear I would be all for it. Not like it would show up on a car fax or anything.

Doesn't sound normall. Not sure why they would spend d all that money for a simple hinged spring mechanism.

I think part of the bracket is molded to/part of the bumper cover. So if that breaks the only way for an OEM fix is to replace the whole bumper cover.

unless they joyrided and damaged your car somehow and try to cover it up. Ask to see the old bumper when they are done.
