New Wheel thoughts?

Playing around with getting a set of VMR 718's. Tell me what you guys think about it. Front is the VMR and read is the stock Peeler

Nice!! I really like those. I have the exact same stock setup with color and peelers. I've been thinking about what my first upgrade will be and those rims really make me want to go that route lol. Thanks for this pic, seeing separates on front and rear really shows the difference

looks more aggressive, IMO. Doesn't match the window trim as well though.

Good looking wheel. But as ^^he^^ said, the window trim doesn't match. I'm sure they come in another finish?

yeah they look good but you will need to wrap the window trim matte black and get rid of the V6T and get the carbon fiber super charger badges.

I have the red s/c badges on there and the windows are tinted. This is a photo from when i bought the car 1 1/2 years ago

I just upgraded to lighter wheels (MORR VS8.2), and boy do i highly recommend it. A performance upgrade that is actually easier on your car!! I know forged is expensive, but im drinking the coolaid. Light weight rotors next!

still need to wrap the chrome trim around the windows for it to flow just my opinion.

Yea that was my only thought. I liked the chrome look with my factory wheels. But i think i want to do a matt or black finish on them.

I plan to lower it after they finish paving my street. But it wont be for probably another year. I live in new construction area and they just have a base coat down right now and there are tons of land mines with the plate covers sticking up to correct height. So I don't want to potentially hit them. But it will be lowered eventually to take up that bad fender gap. Dam thing is like an Allroad

I have the VMR V718s and I love them. I have them in Hyper Silver finish as it matches well with the chrome of the car.

Is that picture of yours with the Gun Metal finish wheels? As others have said, it would look amazing if you covered up the chrome.

VMR is a great company too. I scraped my rim on a curb a couple months ago and Tracy @ VMR was able to give me a massive discount on a whole new rim and expedited the whole process where I had the wheel at my door in under a week. I'm talking it was about 2/3 the cost of what I got quoted to have the wheel repaired. Very impressed.

nice I like it. Yea I think ill get someone to wrap the trim. Or I might tape and cover everything and spray them with plasti dip I dunno have to see what is available around me

VMR makes good wheels for Audi's...
I don't agree with the window trim comments above. They don't have to match. Plenty of people running gunmetal wheels with silver window trim etc...

Big fan of 1552 wheels and the formula classics are being made in 19' and 20'. Many people on here like your basic AG's and Vmr designs. Which are fine but very boring to me. I like different wheel set ups that not many people have.

I have the 718s in gunmetal for my winter wheels. goes really well on sepang, and I wouldn't wrap the trim. it does not look out of place at all when on the car. of course you can always wrap later if you think its needed.

Well im going to buy the rims from a local AZ'er Ill get them on the car for a real look that not photoshoped. And with the trim ill roll with it for a little bit and see how I like it and such. But if the trim matched the matt finish of the mirror caps that would be perfect for me atleast.
