Just wondered if there was anyone here who has fitted the IPE Valvesonic exhaust system to their S6/7?

I would like to fit the IPE to my 2016 S7, however my local dealer is having some issues identifying whether the current IPE exhaust will fit the 2016 model. The current IPE for the S6/7 has valves on both sides. In UK, Audi deleted the sports exhaust from the S7 options list, and reduced the valves from one on each side to a single valve on the left hand input pipe to the rear exhaust as per below picture.

My question is, does the IPE control box have to be plugged into both original valve connectors on each side, or will it work if plugged into just one?
