    Allroad Rear Wiper Issue

My rear wiper does not work. I have verified continuity of the harness between the hatch and the rear compartment to rule out damaged wires at the hatch.

Ground wire is good. When I push the wiper switch all the way forward the pump turns on and I get 12V on the Green/White wire which is what the diagrams says should happen. I can't diagnose much more, but I suspect the other two wires control the intermittent portion. I assume the pump should turn when there is power on green/white, but am not 100% sure.

I am thinking my pump is the issue. I disassembled it. It does not have the common issue of a rusted out inside and everything mores freely.

    Any thoughts?

I figured this out. After looking at the electrical diagrams some more the Black/Green wire should have 12V at all times with ignition on. I was not getting 12 volts. The fuse was fine, however seemed loose when inserted. Jiggling the fuse give me intermittent 12V on that wire. About 3 months after I bought the car (close to 3 years ago) I discovered that a previous individual had hardwired the A/C compressor to 12V by runing a wire into the fuse box area and stuffing it in with fuse. If my memory is correct, I believe it was this same fuse location. The A/C compressor issue turned out to be the compressor relay. That hack repair is still causing trouble to this day.
