    B7 S4 Symphony II+ to RNS-E (Noob please help!)

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

So Before I get flamed I am new to this while retrofitting and basically messing with anything involving the stereo of any of my cars. Currently I have a 2008 S4 with the Symphony II+ set up with Bose and Sat Radio. I'm looking to swap it with an RNS-E unit but after all the searching I am still a but confused about what exactly it is that I Need as far as harnesses and any additional connections,as well as if it needs to be Vag'd or is that just for the DIS for navigation. Thanks for the help in advance!

This is currently my setup (if it helps)

Look into enfig, they sell everything you'll need concerning harnesses. You will need to code the unit for navigation, but that's not absolutely necessary to at least get it connected

unless you're getting that RNS-E dirt cheap... Or you're a purist, it's not worth the hassle.
