I'm so jealous!! Really wanted these from all the rave reviews TT owners were saying last year during your Kickstarter. Glad they are finally available!

if its set way too low, the shocks are going to bottom out. the key to go lower is to modify the top hats for the shaft to sit in, so it can be higher than stock position. the spring still sits where you set it. the idea is to raise the shocks shaft higher only. then at that point the shock will have more travel when the car is dropped. Honda's do this all the time but no real parts for the audi S3 yet.

when this is done properly, there will be no more bounce feel or premature shock wear.

something similar to these front and rear top hats for other cars:

sometimes too much travel is bad though as you can damage fenders if the sprint compresses too much.

incorrect. if it has more travel, it wouldn't cause the tire to compress that much and if I remember its only the shaft that goes up higher not the spring. if your already going to be up in the fender it wouldn't matter anyways, but the spring does stay where you set it. this is only to save that extra 1 inch of travel from deep bumps causing bottoming out, not for the springs to sit higher.

In addition, this is not new. its been out on the market for many years now and it does work. I'm only sharing the info for those who may not know.

oh no it separates it. yeah I didn't want someone else thinking that too.

its a really cool idea. a lot of knock offs have also been made for these other cars.
its pretty cheap to make so they sell a ton of them.
some give a lot more and allows the cars to be slammed and still ride like stock. you would never know it when driving it.

I will have to inquire with MSS about this. When our test sets arrive I will be sure to get this for you.

Head over into the MK2 TT forum there should be some information floating around. We have a lot of TT customers raving about these kits. If you are looking for someone to speak with about them, im sure I can put you in touch with one of our local TTRS customers.

Project MK7 Golf R received our tester set of MSS Springs Street Standard Suspension kits, Integrated engineering camber plates and 034 Motorsport rear subframe bushing inserts.

Click the photos to shop for these items for your 2015+ GTI, Golf, Golf R, 8v A3/S3

Overall impressions are fantastic so far. The car feels so much more planted on the road and takes bumps and dips in the road like a champ and overall ride quality has improved quite a bit. The car feels more confident going into the turns and feels stable in high speed cornering where it felt a bit nerve racking at times. If anyone is local and would like to arrange a ride, please let us know!

    Thanks,

    Greg

I'm seriously considering re-installing the factory magnetic ride suspension and going with these. I'm getting a little tired of CELs for dampening every time I drive. Decisions, decisions.

I've looked at the kits you got for 2015 s3, but I could not find front alone kit. I did find the rear kit by itself though.

Do you have the front kit by itself?

Even though we are outside the pre-order phase, I can still get you into a set of these at a discounted price. Let me know and I can provide you with whatever pricing you need.

We can sell the front kit by itself, but if you don't mind me asking why? Let me know which setup you want and I can provide you with the pricing.

I have just installed a rear sway bar to my stock springs and and the rear springs feel perfect with just the wheel gap that I want. Now, I just want to adjust the gap in the front to match the rear. Pretty much that is my reason just to purchase the front ones.

    Thanks

Perfectly understandable, however I am not quite sure how they are going to work in conjunction with the stock rear, but if you want to try it, go for it! we can always upgrade you to a rear kit no problem. Fully adjustable fronts are $571 these are adjustable 10-30mm so you can adjust it to your liking. We can offer these 10% off right now.

    Thanks,

    Greg

Not just the US, the ROW too. They are doing what they can at the mercy of suppliers. Once every thing is ready we shall see our order in only a few days from England. We are waiting patiently, but oh so excited. Had some more seat time on my way to lunch the other day with our customers Golf R and man the car just feels so good on the road. Comfortable, stable, smooth... words are hard to describe how awesome these things are on a daily driver. Well worth the money if you daily drive your track car. :)

I should have bought a fully adjustable kit when you had the 30% off deal, but I wasn't quite ready to give up on the Bilstein's yet. Argh.

Hello everyone, Josh, myself and William from MSS have been in contact about the issues why this has taken so long.

The delays on the fully adjustable kits is simply down to the front adjustable spring rates not being right for the MK7 R specifically - we could have released the kits and dealt with issues via Returns however that is not how we want MSS to do things...the marketplace is full of too many poorly developed products and doubt we need to add to that!

A small change in spring rate has been necessary so that has pushed production back further at present in to August. Where a change is necessary, it makes sense to do it now and not later. It is costly to stop production mid flow however am not a fan of expecting customers to be an extension of our R&D...so it is the right thing to pull the springs and get it right.

The MSS customer base is formed of professional race drivers; race engineers; seasoned modders; knowledgeable enthusiasts - all have credible views worth taking note hence the risk will always be too high for us to go with a product that is 95% of what it needs to be - 100% is the minimum we set out to achieve.

We are offering a solution to those who have pre-ordered and I will be sending out an e-mail out on Monday once these details are finalized. We hope that this seems fair to those who have waited so long.

    Thanks,

    Greg

MSS Street and Sport Standard kits are en route to Excelerate Performance for the Gol/GTI/R and should be arriving next week. Audi Kits shouldn't be too far behind.

Based of timelines of shipping, looks like the fully adjustable kits are now due in a few weeks. I will release further details as we come closer. (Pre-orders will ship first)

    ALSO!

Have H&R Sport springs? Or springs for another brand and experiencing a harsh ride? We also have MSS adjustable rear kits IN STOCK. Soften up the ride and experience a significant increase in handling performance with the MSS rear kit, well matched to the H&R front springs.

    Questions? let me know!

    Cheers Everybody!

Adjustable Rear Sports kits in stock and ready to ship. Paired well with VWR, H&R, KW front springs that are preexisting and currently on the car. Cure your harsh ride for good with these rear adjustable springs. Capable of 10-30mm drop in the rear are adjustable enough to match just about every aftermarket spring on the market.
