If by "bbk" you mean that you purchased a set of stock B7 S4 front calipers, discs, and mounting bracket, then yes, they will bolt right on. And if you're doing this, you may as well spend the extra few $ on stainless brake lines (you need to open up the system anyway).

What you need to be careful of is whether your wheels would clear it (17" may if you have the right design; 18"+ recommended). May want to do a test fit.

Swapping is easy--put the car up, unbolt/remove the wheel and original brake calipers and discs, mount new hardware, swap lines (or just disconnect old one and replace with stainless if you went that way), reinstall. Do other side. Perform brake bleeding procedure.

JHM and ECS both offer light weight rotors for the B6/B7 S4.

I have not seen any. The rears already weigh considerably less than the fronts.

These are from a B6 S4 which is pretty much the same as B7 S4's, only difference would be the color of the caliper on late B7's and the anti-rattle clips. You'll clear B6 17" sport wheels with no problem but its recommended to run 18". Tyrolsport stiffening kit, as suggested above, is a great improvement over stock. It can even be purchase along with ss brake lines iirc.

    Welcome on Az :)

Oh, then you can get the ecs lightweight rear rotors, they're ~400$usd before shipping. But if you dont track the car just buy Centric high carbon rotors.

If you're considering either of these two, just go with what Axis suggested. Centric high carbon discs (which are pretty cheap) and some good pads (I use the Centric Posi-Quiet ceramics and they're fine). Also, the Tyrol Sport bushing kit (which you should install while the calipers are OFF the car--much easier) and stainless brake lines are a must!

I did this swap last year, I would recommend the lightweight rotor. The normal ones are so heavy and you can definitely feel it. Slows down the car lol, that's the last thing I want.

Only reason I would spend that much on lightweight rotors is for the floating aspect if I tracked the car.

Heat transfert > rotor weight imo
