I have a 2002 A4 which came with the 3.0.... but its toast. A guy I know has a 3.2 from a 2006 model. Can this go into my car easily? He has the harness and ecu.

The engine will fit, but there will be problems with the fuel system and the ECU is not compatible with the B6 instrument cluster. The B7 engine fuel system is the high pressure FSI system, and the plumbing back to the tank, and the fuel pump and pump power supply components are all different.
