For sale are my VMR 721s powder coated in Sunken Treasure. These are gorgeous wheels, pictures don't really do the color justice. In direct sunlight they are jaw dropping, if you are looking for that final touch to make your build stand out and be unique.......these are it and will turn heads. Really wish I didn't have to let these go but have had some pretty major pet issues lately and need to deal with some bills.


They are 19x9.5 ET 45 / 5x112 / CB 66.6

Will include the black ball seat lug bolts in sale and the original VMR center caps. This sale is for wheels only, tires are not included.


One wheel has minor curb scrapes (see photo at bottom) but right after it happened I purchased a replacement because it bugged me, but then I never got around to actually having it mounted. So this sale is for a full set of 4 wheels plus the curb scraped one which can be saved as an emergency spare in case something catastrophic happens to another one.





Wheels are still on the car, I have the replacements already just need a non-snowy weekend to take it down and have them swapped out. [ss]Should be off and ready to ship this weekend.[/ss] UPDATE, another snow storm rolling in so won't be off till next weekend.

Nope, it's up in Pouter Canyon, NW of Fort Collins.


I'm out in Evans near Loveland. These are summer wheels so I'm not driving the car right now, and as soon as weather permits I was going to take them off so they would be ready for shipping or meet up. I wouldn't mind meeting up around Golden or so for delivery if purchased.

A little dusty as the car has been sitting in the garage for the last half of winter (only have one set of snow wheels/tires right now, so I ran the S4 on them for the first half, then swapped them to the S3 for the last half LOL). I washed and wiped down the faces so the unique color and sparkle can be seen better.

Took a good close up of the one damaged wheel, the new wheel I got to replace it is still sealed in the box.

Don't these go for $250 per wheel? so even for a full set +1, your price is the exact same as a MSRP. Only difference is you have a different color, but I'm gonna make the assumption that most people would be okay with silver, black or gunmetal...

Considering I bought the original FOUR on a special sale deal discount for $1400 the answer is no, no you can't buy these for $1300 brand new LOL Try closer to $1600 brand new for (4) four. Also, this is a sale for FIVE wheels, the road rashed one is a spare and an extra.....along with the bolts. So $2000 of wheels, one of which has small scrapes that are easily repaired in reality plus $60 of wheel bolts....and I am asking $1250.

These are $275 a wheel new plus $100 the custom powder coated color. I agree some people would be fine with the standard silver/gunmetal/black everyone has, and that's fine. I mean, some people are perfectly happy with a Toyota Corolla and don't want to pay more for an Audi. Doesn't mean the Audi is worth the same as a Corolla.

Those people can call VMR right now, order a set of four(4) 721s in silver and plunk down $1100 of hard earned cash for the basic silver. Meanwhile my set of four (4) plus a spare in custom powder coat with studs can be had for just a bit more.

Just a bit of perspective.

You can buy four of these wheels in boring silver for $1100. Surely $1150 is not a length too far for what I am offering here? Surely the type of folk that choose to drive Audi instead of the boring Honda/Toyota of the masses can see the value of these wheels.

I don't think that's even a remotely reasonable analogy since an Audi and a Toyota differ much more than just color... A more reasonable comparison in my mind would be someone paying Audi an extra $3000+ for a custom color for their car, since your special powder coat doesn't change anything other than aesthetics. However, the problem with this is that your original offer of $1250 is the equivalent of saying "You can buy a brand new Audi in Brilliant Black for retail price, or you can buy my used Audi which has custom bronze paint but also has dinks and dents on it, but for the exact price as a brand new one from a store. Oh and I forgot, you will also need to pay for shipping, which will probably cost you an extra 10% on top of that (provided the buyer isn't local)."

Oh and btw, the rims ARE $250 with free shipping and possibly no tax (depending on your state).

While the semantics of arguing over comparisons is just ever so fun, I must point out that there are no "dents and dinks" in these wheels with the exception of the spare which is basically being tossed in for free anyway. In addition to your other incorrect and false assertions I would appreciate it if you wouldn't imply the wheels I am selling are damaged.

The point of the comparison was, whether you agree with it or not, is that comparing apples and oranges is inaccurate at best. You are telling me to sell my expensive wheels for the same price as the standard ones. I understand you don't care about the color, that does not change the ACTUAL cost for these wheels. Anymore than a person who sees a car as simple transport would argue paying the cost of an Audi for transportation is silly when a Toyota or Kia will do the same thing. You can NOT buy these wheels for $250 a wheel and free shipping, no matter how much you want to keep stating that and spreading it. No amount of repeating that lie will make it any truer. Just because you wouldn't pay extra for a unique wheel doesn't mean they are not worth more to those that would be interested in being different.

I find your need to belittle and attack my listing and stating that there is no reason to pay more for a higher class product pretty far fetched. But thank you for your input, perhaps someone who IS interested in these wheels will be able to clearly understand the amazing deal they would be getting based on your perfect examples of how much the bare bones wheels cost.
