RNS-E MK II (193) with Audi AMI

    Hello,
I have a RNS-E MK II, the 193 version with the media button in my '03 AR and I would like to add the Audi Music Interface. Does anyone know what part number is the correct one to use with this unit?
    I found this: 8T0 035 785A

Also would I have to add anything else like this cable?

    EBay:

:::On side note: It would be really nice if these forums would have a separate category for these units since they are very different than the first gen RNS-E’s:::

Raising a dead post, but maybe you are still trying to figure it out...

I'm working on plugging what i had in my C5S6 into my D2A8, and adding the AMI. I know the AMI unit has to start with 8P0 not 8T0. The 8T0 units don't display information on the RNS-E screen.

I'm joining the dots from a group of different sites:

https://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.ph...8530&start=105 - list of parts, including an eBay plug and play adapter (do a google for 191133285956)

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...d-8P0-AMI-unit (notes the 8T0 / 8P0 issues )
    2002 S8 - Daily driver.
2003 S6 - R.I.P. (parting out - PM me if you need anything)
    1996 LS400 - Wife's whip. Thing is bullet proof.
1990 Miata with FM Turbo - Pocket rocket.
