This is a fully sorted B5 Stage 3 Avant 6 speed.

Aka my daily driver. I Highway commute a lot, so I set this car up to be a highway animal. Car is a high mileage daily driver, that has been completely gone through and built to be reliable, robust, and incredibly fast.
sitting at 283,000 miles, and has been expertly serviced and maintained.

This car still impresses me every day. Feels like an occasion driving it, which is really nice to feel on a daily basis.

what is really amazing is the interior. Incredible how the B5 S4 interior can be maintained. I have had friends and coworkers in the car and they comment that it looks like a car with 10k miles on it..

every button, switch & function works. Leather is crack or tear free, looks wonderful. Headliner is flawless. I'd give this interior an honest 9/10.

exterior is what you'd expect from a higher mileage driver car. no major flaws, but the usual wear can be found. but, that's the beauty of this car. not a garage queen, its a drivers car. This is a stage 3 Avant you can enjoy every day.

yes yes i know of the QW and AZ tiff..

this car is a perfect candidate for wrap.. think about it.. any color you want in a Stage 3 F21 Avant..

if i was going to keep her, id likely wrap her something awesome.

paint is acceptable for a high mileage daily driver.. but if you wanted an exotic color.. its a perfect canvas to start with with a mint interior

Weather looks good tomorrow. will be taking the Avant out, washing and getting the much requested additional photos then.

Its tough to show quality detail with a cellphone camera. My apologies I dont have a DSLR.

Anyhow the paint on the car is what you'd expect out of a higher mileage driver car. Some blemishes here and there, (the front bumper and hood are near perfect) but- shes a drivers car.

Mechanically she is wonderful.

full disclosure on known issues:

- on my last oil change, I noticed that the front psgr side cam cap was starting to weep. Not a full leak, but it was wet. This is something my mechanic and I felt confident in monitoring till the next timing belt / valve cover gasket service.

- Transmission axle seals are also starting to weep. They showed a small bit of oil on them when she was in the air at the same oil change.

neither leak is critical, drip, or makes a mess. - these are wet.. not dripping. Both would be monitor-able till the time came to change the seals out.

^ disclosed in an effort to reveal all known issues on the car. Other one i've noticed is if its SUUUUPER cold - like 10 degrees or less, the serp belt will squeak a bit till warm. This is a belt- not a tensioner or roller, (both are new) and is a service item when the time comes for a timing service.

Trying to think of anything else, nothing at the moment. If anything else pops into my head, I'll be sure to post it up.


Lastly, I am patient and holding out for the right enthusiast to come along for this car.

Save your time and effort. Im not desperate to sell, and honestly I am strongly considering just hanging onto the car and storing while I'm overseas.

I look at this thing everyday. I am sitting on a PJ K04 S4 sedan and a B7 A4 Avant. I wish this would have come up before I picked up the Avant. Damn nice car. Those are some fine exhaust manifolds as well.

Thanks jbain2. Havent measured the GTF.. they are the sport springs, purchased for AWE Tuning. heard nothing but ride complaints on the super sports.
