New top speed on the autobahn

Was able to open up the S5 on the autobahn the other day. 294 KPH or 182 mph tracked it with GPS since our speedos only go to 269 kph.

I had the middle tune running. I am thinking in the low 400s. High hP tune is 440s. I think with the high HP tune and enough road, 200mph is possible.

There are a few older videos on YouTube of people hitting 192-193 mph. One with stage one REVO, and two others with the early stage 2 tunes.

I think there is some more in it. Not sure about 200mph, but that would be epic!

Yeah, not sure if 200 is possible either. I think i will make 1 more run with high octane and the high HP tune and see. Next time I ll have the gopro going.

What a rush! I miss running my M3 on the Autobahn (stationed in Geilenkirchen), only got it up a little past 175mph.

I am American, but yeah, driving in the states after driving here is BORING! 130KPH 82 MPH is the speed limit most places, except Switzerland where they have a 120KPH speed limit.

The fastest i have ever drove my car was about 278KM/H on the highway.

the car was so planted i was more afraid of seeing the police then anything else.... i really wish we had higher speed limits.

Thats pretty awesome, but I'd will be very surprised if you hit 200mph. Id say you might be able to get another 10mph and get into the 190's but at those speeds drag is a huge issue along with down force to keep traction... if you make another run at it, definitely take the go pro, I would love to watch.

I agree, I don't think another 20hp with the higher hp tune will make that much of a difference at those speeds. 300 kph would be cool though. Now for the weather to cooperate so I can make a run.

Amen my friend, it kills me every time I get on the road and have to drive here especially In Cali after moving from Germany. Oh the autobahn.. how I miss driving with people at high speeds who have common sense.
