Will heated leather seats out of 2008 A4 fit right into a 2005.5 A4 with non-heated seats with no prob? I thought I've read something about a change in the air bag switch or something

Front seats should be plug and play and you have the updated passenger air bag wire that wont throw a mil for bad igniter on the 08, thats a plus.

The rears might give you an airbag mil since 08's have a different rear seat belt tensionner. Worst comes to worst, you put your old tensionner in them.

Sweet!!! How hard is it to change out the old rear tensioner?

Lol, how hard is it to install them? Wiring and I do not get along whatsoever though lol. And they want $500 for both front seats, rear seats, and door panels (black interior) with only 30k miles on them a good deal or should I pass?

That's market price, not really a "deal".

Rear belt tensionner swap is just time/knuckles comsuming.

Oh ok. I'll have to negotiate with them then. It's just really hard to find seats around here in black

For $500 you would be better off saving a little longer and picking up a set of S4 seats. Not even worth swapping from 2005.5 to 2008 unless yours are torn up or something.

I'm looking at a 2005.5 set of seats from a S4 for my 2008. Would I get the same problem with the rear seat belt tensioner?

Yes, you'll probably have to swap your seat belt tensionner from you seats into the Recaro's.

Diy for the rear panel swap for sedan into an avant but the procedure is pretty much the same.

Alright that doesn't like too bad. If I find a set from an earlier B7 I'll pull the trigger and buy it but I'm gonna keep my eye out for a late model B7 set. Do you know what year they changed the seat belt tensioner? Thanks!

Ya, mine are torn and cracking and the lumbar support is broke in the driver's seat. I can't find any s4 seats within a reasonable distance (200 miles or so) around here. I'm located in Birmingham, AL
