New updated spider hose not matching up.

I'm new to audi and I have a 00 manual s4 with a blown engine I'm swapping what I was told was a 00 s4 automatic engine into. Although the new '00 motor had the updated intake manifold. Most of the hoses from the newer manifold were in better shape so I decided to run the new intake. I bought a new spider hose for an 01.5+ and there are a couple hoses that don't line up. Can I make it work or return it and run the older breather hoses?

This old cracked hose on the right does not match up, the new corrugated line to the left goes no where up to the intake. Can I cut the new short corrugated tube off and take off the broken part of the the old intake line with the valve above it and connect the two? They look like they are the perfect length to connect.

I'm guessing I just need to toss the longer line out and connect the valve to the spider hose here?

The silicone kit was about $100 more that's why I went stock. If someone could just post a picture of the rear of their stock 01.5+ intake manifold all together it would help a lot.
