How Do You All Prefer Doing Tire Rotations?
The Owners Manual only provides one option, which is to move both rear tires to the front, and both front tires to the rear

I was under impression that we should do diagonal rotations, and maybe even flip tire on rim to get most life out of it.

Im running my tires for 5 years now, no rotation, 20k. Its time for them to go anyway. They served well. And were cheap as shit. Falken ftw

I wish I had the facilities to be able to flip tire on rim :D

Tires are relatively new, installed them back in September of last year. Tread wear appears okay. However, its been a little over 4,000 miles ever since installing them, should rotate them.

Move rear tires to front, my front tires to rear and swap sides. This assumes you have non directional tires.

My Continental's are asymmetrical. Time for the cross-pattern.

yeah, if you have directional tires you're screwed and can only do back/front swap. "investing" into cheaper tires might make more sense if you actually care to rotate the tires properly :)

Yep, the "rearward cross." Best option, I think, for non-directional, asymmetrical tires. Extreme specificity:
    - RR to RF
    - LR to LF
    - RF to LR
    - LF to RR

Well, yes, if they're directional and asymmetrical, you're screwed. But if the tires are symmetrical, whether directional or not, you can unmount and flip for ultimate rotation possibilities. In fact, many expensive and/or high performance tires such as the Michelin Pilot Super Sport are asymmetrical and non-directional, or like the Hankook Ventus RS3 are symmetrical (and directional in the case of the RS3), so the idea of going "cheaper" just for the ability to rotate is somewhat of a silly notion.
