Usp downpipe question

Hi all, I am thinking of buying the usp down pipe for my a5. I currently have Apr stage 2 and 034 testpipe also a k&n panel air filter. Usp calms 9 HP from adding just the downpipe. I wanted to know your thoughts on that. If the 9 HP sounds about right for adding the downpipe to my set up. The last time I dyno'd the car it got 264 HP and 330 trq to the wheels. I'm currently looking to have my car tuned and pending the price I'll probably go ahead and jump to stage 2 with a down pipe. From apr site its a 18hp gain, no additional torque

As far as I'm aware, downpipes don't add any power. But I'm curious how the USP downpipe will affect the sound of the exhaust. 3 inch piping with no resonator would be interesting. Can't find any reviews of people one here using it either.
